Evan Rachel Wood

Evan Rachel Wood was born in Raleigh, North Carolina, on September 7, 1987. Her father, Ira David Wood III is a stage actor as well as a writer and director as is her mother, Sara Wood, is an actor and acting coach. Her older brothers include Dana Wood, a musician and Ira David Wood IV who are also actors. Evan and her brothers sometimes appeared in the Theatre In The Park in Raleigh where her father founded and for which the director is executive. After a long audition process, she was five years old when she had the opportunity to screen-test against Kirsten Dunst. In the year 1996, she moved to Los Angeles along with her brother Ira and mom. She has been a prominent character in TV series film, feature films, and TV films since. She was the lead character in Practical Magic (1998) and S1m0ne (2002 the child of Al Pacino). She is the daughter of Ira David Wood III and Sara Wood. Ira David Wood III's younger sister. Dancer. She is a fan of singing, swimming or rollerblade and also go back on horses. She holds a black belt at tae Kwon-Do. Is still in touch with the majority of her Once and Again (1999) castmates: Mischa Barton, Julia Whelan, as well as Shane West.
