Bruce Willis
Bruce Willis, actor and musician, is well-known for his smart and hard-edged roles in action movies. He has been featured in films that have earned more than $2.5 billion dollars. Walter Bruce Willis was born on the 19th of March 1955 in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany, to a German mother, Marlene Kassel, and an American father, David Andrew Willis (from Carneys Point, New Jersey) they were living at a United States military base. The family moved to the U.S. soon after he was born. Willis was raised in Penns Grove by his mother who worked in the bank, while his father who was a welder who was a factory worker and welder. Willis began to take an interest in dramatic arts during his high school. He was "discovered" when he worked in the cafe in a New York City cafe. Later, he appeared on various off-Broadway productions. He was working as a bartender one night when a casting director saw his style and asked to cast him as bartender in a tiny film. Willis was part of countless auditions before landing the role in the cult romantic comedy, Moonlighting (1985), as David Addison. His witty and sarcastic P.I. Some believe it's an exercise in preparation to test Willis' role in Die Hard (1988), where he single-handedly defeated the gang of thieves at an Los Angeles skyscraper. Willis reprised the role of McClane in the sequel, Die Hard 2 (1990) that was set at snow-covered Washington's Dulles International Airport as a group of renegade Special Forces soldiers seek to return a corrupt South American general. The film's impressive box-office results led to another sequel to Die Hart with the same vengeance (1995). This time Samuel L. Jackson starred as a cynical Harlem shopowner, who was not aware of the fact that he was required to help McClane during a terror attack on a hot New York City day.
